Calgary Learns is a granting council that builds capacity in local non-profits to deliver foundational learning programs to adults in Calgary by:

Allocating grants to
non-profits to support foundational programming 

Advocating for the needs 
of adults with foundational-level skills

Providing support for staff working with adults with foundational learning needs.

Facilitating community conversations relevant to adult foundational learning in Calgary

Purpose

As Calgary’s granting council for the Community Adult Learning Program (CALP), we support the foundational learning needs of adults through program grants, professional development, and advocacy.
