Adult Learning Programs

There are many reasons to return to learning.

If you are looking for a learning program to support your goals, Calgary Learns funds programs that may help.

Calgary Learns provides grants to non-profit organizations to deliver foundational learning programs. Programs are for learners who are:

Building basic skills, up to Grade 9 or Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) 6
Adults (over 18)
Living in Calgary
Facing financial barriers to learning

We support programs that help with learning basic skills. Some programs are designed for a certain group of learners:

Basic Skills for Life, Learning, and Work

Learning Enhanced Employment Program (LEEP)

Calgary John Howard Society (CJHS)
